Swingin 60s 'Flower Power'
HUGE Daisies Mini Dress
This is a vintage 1960s three armhole wrap around dress that was hand made from the one of the dress patterns that were so popular at the time.
Styled with a 3 armhole design that is reversible.
I think this may have been made from the Butterick Pattern 4699 since it's more of a sheath design. The other pattern makers look a bit more flared.
This was a real find!
The fabric is a medium weight cotton linen type in bright orange scattered with large daisies that were so beloved of the 60s mod, flower power era.
This dress is in wonderful pre-owned condition...no issues - clean and ready to wear!
Can't you just see this dress with a pair of those shiny, wet look white patent leather Go-Go boots!
Please Note* This is not the pattern, but an actual dress that was handmade from a vintage pattern back in the 1960s.
The seams are not serged, but left open/unfinished which was pretty common for homemade garments at the time.
Would best fit a Size Small to Medium
(Taken seam to seam with garment lying flat-then doubled for Bust/Waist/Hips)
Bust/Pit Area: 38"
Length from shoulder to hem: 37"
(Dress has a straight shift fit)
